Mid-State Foundation
Supporting the Community that Supports Us

Established by our employees in 1993, the Mid-State Foundation provides funding to nonprofit charitable organizations in the central Maine area. In its first year the program contributed approximately $19,000, since then Mid-State Foundation contributions have totaled more than $1 million.  Employees participate by pledging a certain amount to the cause, which Midstate Machine then matches dollar for dollar. Employees are polled to determine the preferred organization types to be selected for grants. Some of the organizations that have received funds are listed in the right column.

In 2013, Mid-State Foundation donated more than $93,000 to approximately 40 different organizations, and contributed more than $57,000 in 2014. We are accept applications from nonprofit charitable organizations in need of assistance between April 1 and June 1 each year. To apply, please contact us via email, telephone, or postal mail with contact information listed below to request an application.
